Acadia’s Department of Safety and Security wants your university experience to be a positive one. For that reason we work closely with key campus and community stakeholders, including Residence Life, Student Affairs, Student Resource Centre, Women’s Centre, Equity Office, Town of Wolfville, and local Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
We have both female and male staff trained to help you if you need to report an incident or make a complaint. We can also guide you through Acadia’s non-academic judicial process, or taking serious matters forward to police. No matter what your concern, we are here to help and we will work with you to obtain supportive services.
Our department is staffed 24/7 in room 519 of the Acadia Student’ Union Building at 30 Highland Avenue. Please browse through the Safety and Security website for more information on our department including our Emergency Notification Systems and Campus Closure Policy due to emergency or weather related events. Our director, Kevin Cleary, is also available to discuss your concerns. He can be reached at 585-1474, or email@example.com
